The attached application is to be used to apply to the Small County Dredging Program authorized by the 2005 Florida Legislature.

The applications are to be filed by eligible ports (a port authority as defined in s. 315.02(2), F.S., in a county having a population less than 300,000, according to the last official census).

Eligible ports may apply for funds, if appropriated by the Legislature, for reimbursement of 50 percent of the costs specifically required to initiate or complete a dredging project.

Applications are to be submitted during the appropriate published time-frame. Applications are to be submitted to the Florida Ports Council at their offices at 502 East Jefferson Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32301. Please call Michael Rubin at (850) 222-8028 if you have any questions.
